AgilePMO
Agile and leadership: you already may have come it across as an employee or a CEO, it’s a hot topic. This article (and expect more of these) may not be touristic as such but it shows how much this region of Poland has to offer and that’s just a tip of the iceberg. It is also a reason to combine your trip in Poland with meeting the person behinde AgilePMO, Margaret (Gosia, Małgorzata (Read: Mawgordjata)). Here’s her story.
If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It
Margaret for sure was inspired Walt Disney’s quote. She has spent some time in London. Afterwards she came back to Poland where she became passionate about project management office. Her career took off: she became PMP®, PRINCE2® and AgilePM® certified project manager and she completed post graduate studies in project management. Next, she became a business trainer, MBA lecturer, mentor, blogger and conference speaker worldwide. At the moment, she’s serving as PMI Leadership Institute Meeting Content Reviewer. In the past she was for PMI, Gdansk’s Branch Director and Poland’s ‘Chapter President’.
Solid experience in project management
Margaret has 17 years of experience of managing projects, programmes and leading high performance multicultural teams across Europe, America and Asia. Since a few years, she has been combining Agile with traditional approaches. She has built up experience in implementing project management frameworks, optimizing processes and managing PMO.
Till October 2013 she has worked for Thomson Reuters. Afterwards she decided to start working on her passion: AgilePMO. She believes that extraordinary results can be achieved if organisations and companies are willing to abandon control, hierarchy and build trust among employees.

Transform Organisations
In times of ‘Speed/Time-to-Market & Agility’, Margaret states not to rely on yesterday’s ways of working.
In order to improve performance, today’s leaders need to stimulate creative thinking and unleash the creative potential in themselves and their teams. To succeed nowadays, the key is to be able to change and adapt the organisation or company. And that’s what agilePMO helps them with: changing the mindset, values, beliefs and processes within defined frameworks. AgilePMO have tools and techniques to make these changes happen.
Maybe during your next visit to Gdansk and tricity, you may want to meet AgilePMO?
